LED Crystal Film Screen Removal Guide
1. Power Off:
Turn Off Power: Before starting the removal process, make sure to turn off the power supply and disconnect the LED Crystal Film Screen from the control unit and power source.
2. Disconnect Electrical Connections:
Unplug Cables: Carefully unplug all power and data cables connected to the screen. Label the cables if necessary for future reference.
3. Edge Preparation:
Loosen Seals (if applicable): If a silicone sealant was applied to the edges during installation, use a utility knife or a sharp blade to carefully cut through the sealant, being careful not to damage the surface or the screen.
4. Screen Removal:
Peeling Off the Screen: Starting from one corner, gently lift the edge of the LED Crystal Film Screen. Slowly peel it off the surface, pulling at a consistent angle to avoid tearing or stretching the material.
Avoiding Damage: If the adhesive is strong, use a hairdryer or heat gun on a low setting to warm the adhesive slightly, making it easier to remove. Be cautious to avoid overheating, which could damage the screen or the surface.
5. Adhesive Residue Removal:
Clean the Surface: Once the screen is removed, there may be adhesive residue left on the surface. Use a mild adhesive remover or rubbing alcohol on a soft cloth to gently clean the area. Avoid using abrasive tools or harsh chemicals that could damage the surface.
6. Final Inspection:
Check the Surface: Inspect the surface where the screen was installed to ensure all adhesive and residue have been completely removed. Clean the area thoroughly to restore it to its original condition.
7. Screen Storage or Disposal:
Storage: If the LED Crystal Film Screen is to be reused, carefully roll it up or store it flat, ensuring it is protected from dust, moisture, and physical damage.
Disposal: If the screen is no longer needed, follow local regulations for electronic waste disposal to dispose of the screen responsibly.
8. Reinstallation Preparation (if applicable):
Prepare for Next Installation: If you plan to reinstall a new screen, make sure the surface is clean and smooth, ready for the new installation.
